After being supplied with delicious homemade scones by a kilt-wearing flatmate in the evening, we were also given fudges in the morning.
Since we had to leave at 10, we had some time in the city. So we looked for a charging station from where we could get some food. Unfortunately, this one also couldn't be started again. The cable wouldn't fit on one side because a hidden sign was in the way, and anyway, you could only activate it through the hotline. They then informed me that the bank account I had provided could not be used. However, there were no complaints during the online setup. Now I would need an additional Google account, an additional PayPal account, and also a British bank account for which Wise was recommended to me. But it's slowly not worth trying anymore. I will test their website payment again, but I don't have high hopes either. However, I was still able to charge something, and it was even free.
The ferry ride was calmer than expected. Only the way to the east was a whole stretch with passing places for both directions. Once trees started growing again, it became quite exhausting due to the poor visibility. The coniferous forests seem to have the same problems here as in Germany. There are huge areas where all or many of the trees are completely brown and dead. Some insect seems to be causing this.
In any case, we arrived well. The place is large but beautifully green. It looks quite good, and there is also electricity.
