Lake Tekapo - Tag1; Lake Pukaki, Lake Tekapo

Update 10.02.

After a short night, we started a very cozy day.

We spent our lunch break sitting on the warm stones by the shore of Lake Pukaki. The water was a beautiful turquoise-blue color and we could see a snow-covered mountain right in front of us.

From there, it didn't take long to reach Lake Tekapo, which was almost as brilliantly blue. Once again, we spent the afternoon at the beach in the sun, enjoying the warmth. 🤗

Our little hostel by the shore had a very cozy sofa area, so we spent the whole evening reading after we had eaten our delicious beetroot-colored pasta salad.
