Cozumel, Mexico

For the first time, we managed to have a cocktail on the pool deck after dinner. Somehow, we fall into bed exhausted every evening. On February 12th, we were in Cozumel. As warm as always. It was over 30 degrees Celsius. We took a bus along the coast. At a beautiful beach section in the nature reserve, we made our first stop at El Mirador Beach. We had fifteen minutes to take pictures. Then we continued to the Mayan ruins of San Gervasio. I didn't see much of the Mayan ruins. I was busy with the iguanas that were well camouflaged on the old ruins. After that, we went to have a typical lunch. It was beans, rice, and tapas with chicken. Then we went back to the port. We treated ourselves to a coffee at Starbucks and did some shopping in the tourist shops. After dinner on the ship, we sat on the balcony. After already being on the way for two hours towards Belize, the ship turned around due to a medical emergency. We docked in Cozumel again around 10 PM to transfer the patient to an ambulance.
