Back to Germany

Last Thursday I left my host family and Denmark.

By way of farewell, I had typical Danish smørrebrød with my host family.

In the evening, I went for a ride with my host sister Sally through the fields to watch the sunset, and then we ended the evening together with the other volunteers.

The day before, we explored the most beautiful spots on the island with Sebastian, the family's son. It's been a great time for me, but we all agreed, it was not a 'Goodbye' but a 'See you later'.

I will come back.

On Thursday evening, I arrived in Berlin at my friend Tatjana's. We had a great weekend together. We had a picnic at Wannsee, took a bus tour of Berlin, and went out to party. Yesterday, I visited the Hohenschönhausen Memorial and took part in a guided tour with a witness.

Now I'm going to Hamburg, where I'll spend 3 wonderful days with my sister. Then, on Thursday evening, we'll return home together.
