As we rolled our i:SY out of the hotel shed around 9 am, the other 4 bikers did the same. Only they had over 300kg heavy Harleys. There was friendly small talk (oh, also belt drive... also to Italy..) but I think everyone found the other side a bit amusing. The first 26 km of our route followed a former railway track, which was asphalted today, that connected the Maintal with our destination, the Taubertal, from 1907 - 1992. This meant a beautiful and wide road without steep climbs - wonderful. This was followed by the largely untouched landscape of the Taubertal. Rothenburg ob der Tauber is very different in terms of liveliness. Many people, countless languages and with Käthe Wohlfahrt and the felt trillions of Christmas articles, it is a special cultural highlight. Nevertheless, it's beautiful here and there is a lot to do (including a nice wine festival tonight). 'Enjoy the peace!' = that's exactly what we will do here for a few days ;-)
