5 am - wake up.
We make our way to the River Bangkok Hotel, from here we take a bus towards the southwest. On the drive, we learn that
Susie (spelled differently for sure) leads the group through the floating market and to the processing of coconuts. She is very friendly, interested, speaks understandable English and has already traveled to more than 55 countries, with Switzerland, New Zealand, and Norway being her favorites. In conversation with her, I learn more and more about Susie and she also learns about us. I tell her about my profession: "Oh teacher. You know, in Thailand we say that teachers are the mothers of the nation."
And she is right βΊοΈ she explains that teachers become the most important person after the mother at home in Thailand - I like it!
