Great Barrier Reef

After a very short night, the music of the rain woke me up. I looked outside with sleepy eyes and only saw trees around me. I have arrived in the rainforest! It is wet but at a pleasantly cool temperature.

Today, the Great Barrier Reef was on the program. I took a catamaran to a platform in the Outer Barrier Reef, further out, where there is still a colorful underwater world of fish and corals. As someone who doesn't snorkel or dive, I could only take a ride on the Semi-Sub-Boat. By the way, Perkies are landlubbers and a day on the water is a terrible thing. I actually liked the water from the shower in the evening much more.
