Departure from the beautiful town of Dunedin, but not without a visit and drive on the steepest street in the world until 2019, Baldwin Street in Dunedin. The road has a gradient of about 35%. Recently, another road in Wales has been declared even steeper. The car struggled quite a bit on the way up, and it's also exhausting to walk.
Continuing our journey to our final destination in New Zealand: Christchurch. Initially, we could still see beautiful beaches, the highlight of the day being Boulders Beach. The beach is full of round stones that inspire numerous legends.
The rest of the drive to Christchurch was a bit boring by New Zealand standards, except for the town of Oamaru. But we could still see that there is also something like flatland in New Zealand.
