On this day, we took a break from riding motorcycles and went hiking in Cat Tien National Park. But before we went there, we relaxed and enjoyed the view from our balcony by the river. After a leisurely breakfast, we rode about 1 kilometer to the park's entrance.
However, the park is located on the other side of the river. So we had to take a small ferry across the river. Once we arrived, we set off with great enthusiasm through the park. It felt really good to exert ourselves physically again. Along the way, we encountered many extraordinary and sometimes ancient trees (some up to 700 years old). We were accompanied by thousands of butterflies on the small trails through the forest, creating a truly peaceful atmosphere. After walking through the forest, we followed the river to two rapids. Unfortunately, there was a shocking amount of garbage in the river. After walking a total of about 12 kilometers, we reached the park entrance. As a reward, we all treated ourselves to some ice cream. We spent the rest of the day in our very comfortable bungalow or on the veranda in front of it.
