A wild time in Broome.

16.07.2019:

Today we headed to Broome. Two days earlier, we had already reserved a second-hand tire there by phone. Pretty cheap at $50 compared to $230 for a new one. At noon, the car wouldn't start again. The starter was broken after all. Michael got a new one. Another $ 300 spent on the car. Camped just outside the city right on the beach.

17.07.2019:

At the end of Cable Beach there was the Gantheaume Lookout Point. We stayed there for a while. Jana then told me that she might have a job as an au pair. It motivated me to do something for my applications or actually felt somewhat forced to do so.

In the evening at Town Beach, there was a market with international food. We also ate bratwurst with sauerkraut. Then we saw the Stairway to the Moon.

18.07.2019:

Hung out on the beach and then drove into town to Cable Beach. Since I'm still one of those people who at least apply sunscreen when I'm in the sun all day, I also use a lot of sunscreen to protect myself. The others commented on that all the time and that these chemical substances are not good either and Bla blasted at me from all sides. Just let it be my business if I want to protect myself.

I'd had enough and disappeared for over two hours. I walked to the other end of the beach, hardly wanted to come back. But eventually I had to. Everyone apologized and we talked it out. It got better again. In the evening, we went out and slept in a hostel.

19.07.2019:

In the hostel, I was productive and uploaded pictures to my cloud. A little later, Michael also showed up. We washed laundry and hung it up. At Cable Beach, Jana and I tried our luck with Helpx (Work for accommodation and meals) again. But somehow it's not really working out.

At noon, we went for a big shopping trip for the next few days and refilled water. Before leaving Broome, we went to the fair for a short while. Jana and I went on a ride and I have to say, I felt a little sick afterwards. In the evening, we drove towards Derby for a while.
