After driving the Nullarbor it is time for a relaxed day in Ceduna. After sleeping in we were heading to the Ceduna Lighthouse. Stuart thought that this lighthouse is the perfect size for him. From the Pinky Point Lookout we could see the Ceduna jetty with the beach as well as the salt factory, but no seals visible in the water.
So for a relaxing day we went to the Ceduna city beach to walk along the beach and to the jetty. The weather was already pretty windy, but almost no clouds and no rain. From the Ceduna jetty you can reach a safe swimming area meaning with a stingers net around as by walking on the jetty you can see already many stingers in the water.
While enjoying the views and sound of waves on the jetty suddenly a storm with very strong winds came up. Heading back to the jetty, trying not get blown off or hit by stuff flying around, we decided it is time to go to the visitor information center to grab some information about the area and our next stops. To have a look through all the information we were going to the cafe for some late lunch & coffee before hitting the supermarket to get some dinner. Although the Christmas biscuits looked very tempting, Stuart reminded us that it is not yet time for that, so we didn´t buy any (that day), but instead enjoyed the very windy views on the Ceduna sunset that evening.
