I don't even know how to describe it. This trip was simply amazing and beautiful from start to finish!
After staying in these stilt houses, we went directly to the reservoir from there. This excursion included all transfers on land and water.
Arriving at the pier, we took a longboat to the new accommodation on the water. A 45-minute ride promised beautiful views of nature and the reservoir. It was truly a beautiful landscape!
In a small bay, the row of floating houses appeared. It was also a beautiful sight in the best weather. After arriving, we had some time until the evening safari. So we took a dip in the cool water and went for a little canoe ride. (You could just take it)
I'll summarize the evening safari and the morning safari (7 am). We traveled by boat along the forests to catch a glimpse of the wildlife. We saw a few monkeys and rare bird species.
The night fell. There was only electricity from 7 pm until late at night. MOBILE RECEPTION zero nada nothing. This made the trip even better, fully focusing on everything else.
The highlight of this trip was the jungle and cave tour. We took a boat to a narrow bay and walked along an even narrower path through the jungle. Along the way, we traversed rocks and water, a small taste of what was to come. Our guide showed us small things that could have been useful for survival in the jungle. Very interesting!
The cave, exactly what the tourist expects. It starts out overly large and gets narrower towards the back. Various water depths added an extra thrill. At times, the water went up to my neck! Some had to switch to swimming mode. Along the way, we saw various rock formations and animals. I would like to draw attention to the hand-sized spiders^^
After the excursion, we returned to the starting point by boat and van. We then continued our journey to the next region. The destination is KRABI, a city further south by the sea.
I'm writing this post while lying on the beach here ;)
Next to me is the sacred site of the penises!
