There is not much to report, I am still in the area around Tauranga.
Now it's time for the first part of the 'Work and Holiday' visa. Work is on the agenda, finding a job was not difficult as it is currently off-season here and many people are needed. I have decided to do kiwi picking. It's physically hard work, but you can earn good and 'easy' money if the weather cooperates. No work in the rain, and it has been raining a lot in the last 4 days (see picture, it's from a colleague who is on the campsite where I would also be). I have used the free days to explore the region, especially the area around Rotorua, famous for its geothermal activity and beautiful lakes.
I have also done a lot of hiking, they have really many marked hiking trails through nature here.
Tomorrow the weather is better and money can be earned again for travel. By the way, the supermarket costs around $2.10 ~1.2€.
See you soon ✌
