From Knysna to Stellenbosch

After a good night's sleep, with frog croaking to fall asleep, we enjoyed the 'Swiss' breakfast again at Nicole's Gabalala Guesthouse. At around 09:30 a.m., we set off on our longest journey to Stellenbosch (just under 500 km).

Nicole informed us that there is a construction site on strike near Grabouw, so it made sense for us to bypass this section.

From Knysna, we headed towards Caledon on the N2, we made good progress and moved forward quickly. After Caledon, we turned towards Villersdorp and treated ourselves to the Franschhoek Pass again, so we could bypass the striking area near Grabouw.

We arrived safely at the Guesthouse Twice in Stellenbosch around 4:30 p.m. and checked into our room for the last few days in South Africa.

In the evening, we headed to the center of Stellenbosch, specifically to Wijnhuis, where we enjoyed a fine aperitif and were pampered.
