Trip to Hey Joe Brewery

Today Peter felt better again, the medication to build up the stomach flora worked.

After a good breakfast, we explored Franschhoek together and Helena checked out a few boutiques. We took a little break at a café.

At around 12:00, the Studer family also arrived in Franschhoek, and at 13:00 we met at the garden restaurant in Le Petit Manoir. Then we took a trip to Hey Joe Brewery, a brewery that produces beer in the Belgian style and is located outside of Franschhoek.

We all tried a tasting offer and enjoyed some finger food. A cathedral for beer lovers. Martin, a nice Uber driver who also knows a few Swiss soccer players, drove us back.

At 19:30, we had reserved a table for 4 people at the restaurant 'le bon Vivant' in advance. Our hosts, as well as the hosts of the Studer family, congratulated us on the choice of restaurant. The various reviews raised high expectations. We are of the opinion that the food was good, but there is still room for improvement. We have experienced and enjoyed a better overall package in several places in South Africa.
