Well-rested and strengthened by his morning bottle, Finn, dad and Marley went for their first walk of the day. Mom did the dishes. A short but heavy rain shower surprised dad while getting the motorhome ready to depart. But as they say, he's not made of sugar.
We started our journey with the camper towards the Danish Baltic Sea coast. Finn once again slept through the whole ride, but to be honest, the border crossing wasn't that exciting. Denmark doesn't look any different than the North of Germany at first glance. In summary: flat land, occasional rain shower. The only new thing for dad: maximum speed of 130 km/h on the highway, 80 km/h outside built-up areas.
Shortly before noon, we arrived at the campsite in Grönninghoved Strand, with beautiful sunshine and windy weather. After lunch, we went to the beach, which was only 100 meters away. Finn was able to step on the beautiful light sand for the first time with bare feet and even tasted dried seaweed. Marley set a new record in digging sand holes. Overall, it was a relaxed and beautiful day at the Danish Baltic Sea.
We also had a cozy evening and even enjoyed the luxury of watching TV from bed (women's football).
