Time to say goodbye

A last breakfast with Tine's parents and then it was time to say goodbye. A tear or two was shed, but now our real adventure began. Left to our own devices, nothing pre-booked (except the flights and one or two accommodations), we set off on our little, big adventure.

After a power nap, we went to the waterfront again, where it was clearly visible on the streets how powerful the storm had been. Many trees lost huge branches and some were completely uprooted. There was a lot of work to be done by the road workers.
