Camping on the beach and fishing

On this day, we went to the next campsite, which was also located on a beach, which we unfortunately did not know, we had to drive 13 kilometers (about 1 hour drive) through a 4WD track (mountain landscape) over stones and deep sand to reach the beach.

Today we really tested our fishing equipment and had a delicious fish dinner in the evening. (Whitys) The interesting drive here was definitely worth it for the beautiful view and our car did a great job.

What we can say is that camping on the beach is not easy... although we sleep in our super comfortable bed in the car, it is very windy, so cooking with the camping stove is not very pleasant.

Nevertheless, spending a night in the car on the beach was a great experience :) We have already driven 500 km this week and driving the car is really exhausting after a while. However, it is also fun to listen to music for hours, goof around, and enjoy the long highways and beautiful views.

It's funny how the next town is simply 300 km away and you really have to think in advance whether you have enough fuel, food, and drinks. We actually wanted to drive even further up to see Shark Bay, but since we still have to drive all the way back to Scarborough, we have decided that we want to visit these points at another time, as it is not worth driving so far at the moment, since we always want to be back in Scarborough on Saturdays to work.
