TAG 10 ARUBA

Aruba is the first, but smallest (30 km long, 10 km wide), of the 3 ABC Islands and geographically belongs to South America! The island is only 25 km away from Venezuela and has beautiful beaches, including Eagle Beach, which was awarded as one of the top 5 most beautiful beaches in the world in 2022. Aruba is politically one of the 4 equal countries (Netherlands, Curacao + Sint Maarten) of the Kingdom of the Netherlands! However, with its own currency and mobile network......!

Plan: search for dream beaches with the public bus!

Breakfast was chaotic, everyone wants to go to the island! We too... Quickly found the bus station and bought a day ticket for $10 per person! The bus was already there and after about 20 minutes we reached the final stop at Arashi Beach! To burn off breakfast, we walked through a barren cactus landscape to the Californian Lighthouse, the lighthouse with a great view! Then to the beach and snorkeling-actually with many fish!! Before that, we set up our new pop-up tent, that was fast! Fortunately, no one watched us while dismantling it, hopefully! After that, we went to Eagle Beach, allegedly one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and the Caribbean - despite the white, fine, wide sandy beach, we found the first one more beautiful and they have reasonable prices here... 1 small beer for $6 or $7!! Taking the bus back, the tram tour had to be canceled because of the cappuccino, etc.! Today we are going to eat at the Italian restaurant!
