Taupo - Lake Taupo

Taupo is a beautiful peaceful place located directly on an azure blue lake. The picturesque view was at its best with its mountain panorama. We had a good eye for hostels and so there was even 'free coffee' here again!!! The next morning we jogged in the early morning hours to the Huka Falls. Alone without the rush of visitors at this time, we had a spectacular view of the raging stream. On the way back, we passed a thermal spring where Kevin had the brilliant idea of taking a bath. The hot bath in the natural landscape was also very nice, but he didn't consider that we still have to walk 3 km back to the hostel, which is not so great at 10 degrees outside temperature, in wet clothes and barefoot.
