The day started very 'fresh'. It was cold, cold, cold, and we set off on our Seafari tour. Equipped with stylish wetsuits, we headed out to the open sea. But at the same time in the bay, we discovered our first sensation: a small whale! Even the tour operators were more than impressed and very excited. Once we arrived on the open sea, we kept an eye out for dolphins, which we soon spotted. However, our goal was to swim with the dolphins. So, in small groups, we hung on to a mounting device at the back of the boat and got into the water. But since the dolphins didn't seem to feel like playing with us, we were literally being pulled through the cocoa... uh, the sea. Since sounds and noises attract the sensitive dolphins, we were supposed to make sounds or sing underwater. Well... try singing through a snorkel... everyone did their best. Whether the dolphins liked this singing or not, we cannot answer, but we did see a larger group of dolphins swimming directly underneath us. Back on the boat deck after the amazing experience and in a chatty mood with the whole group, we couldn't believe our eyes when suddenly a whale jumped out of the water not far from us and then let itself fall back down with its impressive weight. It seemed to have taken an interest in us and delighted us with its presence, swimming with us directly in front of our boat's bow. With a great murmuring through the crowd, we all gazed speechless and enjoyed the breathtaking time.
