At 5:30 am, we took the bus from Quepos to Puntarenas, then the ferry to Paquera, and another bus to Montezuma. We covered the remaining 7 km of dirt road to Cabuya in a small bus. And then we were in Cabuya, a very small town consisting of four dirt roads that crossed in the middle. Many dogs, lots of dust, but very peaceful and almost right by the sea. Our accommodation was like a small lodge and was located right by the jungle. In the morning, you would be awakened by barking dogs or howler monkeys.
A place to feel good, where we spent three days! ☺️
