Noosa Everglades: Mosquitos and Kangaroos

The first stop of the tour was the Noosa Everglades. A marshland where we went on a small canoe tour.

Afterwards, we spent the night in the wilderness in small, incredibly stuffy huts. At the campfire, I got bitten by so many mosquitoes that the next day I had doubts whether this tour was the right one. However, that turned out to be the only mosquito attack - it took 1 week for all the bites to disappear.

As compensation, we were greeted by about 20 kangaroos happily hopping around in our vicinity. 6 POINTS
