Sobrado dos Monxes to Arzúa

The morning greeted us today, as it has in the past few days, with bright sunshine and a good breakfast. The initial path delighted us with interesting views of forests and meadows, leading us through hollow paths and shady trails. But then!!! With the rising sun, not only did the temperatures increase, but the paths also deteriorated. Asphalt, concrete, gravel, and the increasingly scorching sun accompanied us for the next few hours, almost without shade. In a trance-like state, we silently went uphill and downhill, always hoping to catch a little bit of shade. 3 km before reaching the destination for the day, a glimmer of hope appeared in the form of a tavern announcement. We followed this light, and it was a good decision! Refreshed, we completed the final meters of a total of 24 hot kilometers.
