Cheetah

We leave Zuri Campsite, which has become very dear to our hearts and which, with the super-friendly host Markus and the private pool, is one of the highlights of the campsites.

Our path leads us to the Cheetah Conservation Foundation, which has made it its mission to ensure the preservation of cheetahs worldwide. It is an interesting few hours with feeding, a visit to the museum, a game drive and lots of explanations about the foundation. They are now trying to convince the farmers, among other things by setting up a model farm and breeding sheepdogs that can protect the herds from attacks by the cheetahs. In the late afternoon we continue to Okahandja to the von Bach Damm Resort, where we want to end our last days in Namibia.
