Motunau Park, Pukehina

We wake up early in the morning to go swimming in the ocean one last time.

Then we make our way to the Blue Springs, one of the purest water sources in the world. We are amazed by the artificially vibrant colors of this clear river.

Our next stop is a campsite in Piarere, right by a lake (Lake Karapiro), which is a popular spot for various water sports.

We relax by the lake to soak up some sun. After dinner, Eileen treats us to ice cream from a real ice cream truck.

For tonight, we plan to catch up on the sleep we missed on New Year's Eve.
