Horseshoe Bend

Here we were after the Grand Canyon, a horseshoe-shaped meander of the Colorado River near the city of Page in the state of Arizona, USA. It is a tourist attraction and when we wanted to drive there in the evening, we were not allowed to enter through the gate, which is secured with iron spikes at the bottom, so that no one can enter overnight because it naturally costs money. So we were there in the morning, you park your car in a parking lot and then walk for about 15 minutes until you reach this railing. It was quite cold and soon Lea, Ida and I went back to the camper van because Lea was cold and she just kept complaining...
