🇬🇧 English version below
Tour information: Distance by bike 117 kilometers, max. 51.5 km/h, avg. 22.4 km/h, ascent 830 meters, duration 5:15 hours
Weather: blue sky, little wind, temperatures between 13 - 16°
I got up at 6:30 am. For breakfast, I had to go to another hotel where I had received a voucher. Since it was another Scandic Hotel, I had access to a great and diverse buffet.
Then, I packed my things to address the issue of taking out my eBike. However, I had worried too much about it, as even at the front door, there was a woman who held it open for me.
Although I was on the streets all day heading towards my destination, there was very little traffic. Only a small portion of the roads had bike paths. It was a long ride but very pleasant.
In general, the route often followed the coastline. There were two places where I even took a short detour to visit places located by the water. They were worth seeing and, I would almost say, romantic places.
The first place was called Fjällbacka. A man pointed out to me that Ingrid Bergman comes from here and that there is a bust of her in the town. So I gladly took the detour to find this bust and, of course, take pictures of it.
The second place was called Bovalstrand. The harbor, the blue sea, and the wonderful sky immediately reminded me of the Caribbean. Personally, I like this area much better, which is why I prefer it over the Caribbean. In general, I am enjoying my journey more and more each day. I am pleasantly surprised every time I come across beautiful places like these by the water.
Today's journey ended with a ferry ride of about 3 km. There is a hotel right by the ferry port that I really liked, and now I'm here. After about 1 hour of sleep, I'm ready to write this daily report. I would be very jealous of myself if I couldn't be here personally.
So I conclude this report from Fiskebäckskil with warm greetings from my personal Caribbean.
