The country is becoming flatter. The sea is currently at low tide. After 7 hours of pure train travel we finally arrived on Sylt. The group gets off at Morsum. Mr. Hiemer drives on with a student to see the beautiful train station in Westerland. After a visit to the doctor and the pharmacy, it's back to Morsum. Meanwhile, everyone else goes shopping for dinner. Mrs. Grgic is cooking tonight, with the help of a student. All things now have to be brought to the accommodation 1.5 km away. The sun is shining, with summer temperatures. After checking in, four and three students walk to Morsum Beach. On the three kilometers distant path we see cows, goats and sheep. A schoolgirl dares to pet the cows. The first view of the sea is beautiful. The meadow, on which the sheep graze and the sea, which merges into the horizon, stretches out picturesquely. In the background you can see the deep blue sea with the setting sun. Some students collect seashells. A student dares to swim in the sea. After the sun has set, we make our way back. A delicious chili con carne with rice awaits us at the campsite. Then the dishes are done. Some students sit comfortably outside under the open sky to watch shooting stars. From 10 p.m. it is officially quiet for the night. The day ends a little later for the teachers.
