After a hearty breakfast we set off on a local hike. Descend to Omalo, visit the nice information center and climb back up to upper Omalo. Our driver arrived earlier and agreed to drive us to Dartlo again (approx. 15 km off-road). The place is famous for its historic stone towers and houses. Then the long journey back began. Because of the photos I'm allowed to sit in the passenger seat and the driver's wife (always with me) has to go to the back to Beate. The journey to the Albano Pass went without any problems. The cyclists who fought their way up the pass on difficult terrain with luggage were remarkable. On the other side of the Berkette we are in the clouds for a long time. The fog only clears further down. We arrived at the campsite in the dark (7:40 p.m.), had another bite to eat and soon disappeared into our sleeping bags, dog-tired.
