We were the only ones at the 2 available RV spots on Wettstone Ranch right by the lake, almost all alone 😍 and enjoyed the peace. We leisurely had our pancakes for breakfast, as we had something different planned than the last few days:
Trail ride through Bridge Lake 🥰.
It was super beautiful and relaxing, the horses are lovingly cared for and tended to by the ranch owners. Among the horses is also an emigrated Swiss (the owners of the ranch emigrated from Switzerland). Otherwise, the herd is very mixed, Norwegian, Westphalian, Mustangs... Not infrequently, some horses are seen freely roaming the property, taking care of the lawn and trimming the bushes 😍. Our highlight was also a small rescued deer, which now also lives on the ranch. This place was a little oasis for all sorts of animals 🐶🐈🐴🦌🐓🦆🦚...
On our ride, we observed young eagles in their nest, but there was no trace of the two bear families that live in the woods here 😉.
In the afternoon, we took a round on the lake with the kayaks 🥰
What a wonderful day!
