The first night was unexpectedly cold for all of us, so the first rays of sunshine around 7:30 am were very welcome. Our friend and current travel companion Flo was then pulled into the sea by every cell in his body around 9:30 am, which has become something like a morning ritual for him. After we were all awake, some more, some less, and packed up our tents, we continued our journey. On the way to the next dream beach, we discovered something like an abandoned and empty residential area by the roadside. Of course, we could not resist stopping here for a moment to take some photos. Then we continued and stumbled upon the paradise beach of Praia da Rocha in Portimão. Fascinated by its huge yellow-orange cliffs and playful caves, we spent several hours here in the sunshine. This became a disadvantage when it got dark and we were looking for a place to sleep. Nevertheless, we found a perfect spot for the night in the dunes of Meia Praia shortly before Lagos.
