Drive to Swakopmund

After a cozy breakfast in the open air, we set off on the 300km journey to the southwest coast. The gravel roads were a challenge, but the scenery was beautiful.

Finally, we reached the sea and the beautiful colorful Swakopmund! For the first time, we are feeling a bit cold here (at only 25 degrees and windy).

We briefly went to the beach and found many beautiful smooth stones of different colors.

In the evening, I ask Maxima what was nice today, or if the drive was just too tiring. She replies, "but it was worth it, it is beautiful here!". Yes, that's true, and we are spending four days here.

Many things seem familiar from about 15 years ago, but the city has already changed (grown).
