Back on the road. Through Andalusia, the hot spot in July.
Accordingly, I should move the activities to early morning and late evening. I haven't quite gotten used to the rhythm yet.
First stop on the way to Portugal was Ronda. I hadn't seen the city before. While on one evening the concert in the old town echoed into the mountains, the next day there was the chirping of crickets and the sound of waterfalls on my walk below the city. The figs are slowly ripening, unfortunately not within reach.
Before I leave, I cool off in the municipal swimming pool.
Then the journey continues in the daytime heat. The landscape towards Seville is beautiful, full of terraces of olive trees, later it becomes more and more desert-like, a few dried sunflower fields characterize the journey. Just before Seville, in a village called El Viso del Alcor, there is a free motorhome parking space. Here there is even a shaded spot waiting for me. A gentle breeze blows, turning the evening heat into a pleasant gentle breeze. Later, a couple from Holland joins me. They have already been to Portugal and are returning via Spain, so we can give each other tips. Perfect!
