Roadtrip USA East Coast - Second Day (April 29, 2024)

A: In the spring months, we walk along the beach in Miami Beach in high summer temperatures. After our original plan to visit the Everglades failed due to a lack of preparation and organization, as did our attempt to keep a proper blog (we failed to upload pictures), we entered downtown Miami instead as an alternative. After we left the slum-like area behind us, the skyscrapers appeared in front of us. To get to the beach from Miami, we had to take the bus. A young woman from Ukraine helped us with this, the first one who could communicate with us perfectly in English. When we arrived at the beach, white sand appeared in front of us and behind it the breaking green-blue shimmering sea. The water was pleasantly warm, comparable to the Mediterranean. After hours of walking along the ocean, we finally went to the Miami Eye and saw a spectacle of colors illuminated by the setting sun on the horizon. In the darkness that was now settling over the city, we walked back to our accommodation.
