Chicken legs

Diterbitkan: 25.12.2018

Yesterday, just being lazy on the last day in Mui Ne and went for a walk to the beach after breakfast. Swimming ... water warm like a bathtub ... enjoyed cool Cokes and coffees with delicious powdered sugar waffles ... very tasty 😋😋😋 .... Continued reading Pia's book, which deals with the philosophical question "Would you kill the fat man?" ... exhausting at 32 degrees 😨, but very interesting 🤓 ... and finally got sunburn on my washboard abs. However, that didn't happen due to carelessness, but due to force majeure.

For this, it must be known that there is only one public access to the beach that I am familiar with. The other access points are only possible through hotel entrances. But since strict guards stand in front of them, you only have one chance to access.

To make a long story short: when I wanted to leave the beach in the afternoon, the public access was no longer accessible because there was a bulldozer building a new piece of beach right there. You could say I was trapped on the beach. I watched the bulldozer ... guys are so 😀 ... build the beach for quite a long time and ended up burning my stomach. But the bulldozing had something, even though only sand was being moved back and forth.

At some point, I had to leave the beach through a hotel. The guards didn't care. They probably only have the task of controlling in one direction 🤔. So I googled the English word for construction site in vain in case I was interrogated by the guards.

On the way to the hostel, I wanted to quickly grab something to eat. It should have been a chicken leg. It took forever for the food to finally arrive. Longer than forever. To my dismay, I didn't get a leg, but only feet. It really was just the feet.... the claws!!! Is that what you say? And I'm not exaggerating, there was not even a tiny bit of meat on those things. I sucked on and chewed on two of them. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. For the first time in my life, I left a meal completely untouched.

Today, I took the bus back to Saigon. Without knowing it, I booked a very good 4-star hotel ****. Only paying attention to the price. It was apparently a real bargain. Not more expensive than previous accommodations. With a rooftop pool (14th floor), gym, etc. To top it all off 😀, I even got a room upgrade with a great view of the city ... tomorrow I will check out the pool & gym and "wellness" a little after breakfast ... G O I N G W E L L ! ! !
