Arrival in Santiago

January 30th, 10:15 AM local time, we have arrived in Santiago de Chile. The 15-hour flight, with a layover in Paris, has taken us from the European winter to the South American summer with over 30 degrees Celsius. Our plans for the arrival have already changed, as the ship with the containers and our motorcycles has docked in Valparaiso instead of San Antonio due to a malfunction. Therefore, we will not be staying in San Antonio as planned, but in Valparaiso. I'm already itching to get the motorcycles out of the containers and finally start riding. But that is unlikely to happen before tomorrow.
