Chicago

Today we drove directly from Grand Haven to the Premium Outlet in Chicago. It's incredible, but there was hardly anyone at the outlet. At times, we were the only customers in the stores. We found some good deals at New Balance, Tommy Hilfiger, and Timberland. From there, we headed to our hotel, the Ambassador, where we will stay for 5 nights. Unfortunately, we arrived in the city after 6 PM, and Hertz had already closed. We had called to ask if we could still return the car. The lady on the phone said yes. The car is now in a large parking garage where Hertz is located, but there was no mailbox for the car key anywhere in sight. Now we have to go back there tomorrow. In the elevator of the parking garage, we met a Ukrainian woman. She had already been in Freiburg for 4 weeks. In front of the parking garage, she prayed with me for my health and that nothing happens to the car. On the way back to the hotel, we stopped at a pizzeria and had Quattro Formaggi. Now we are back in the hotel room; that's enough for today.
