After countless hours on the bus, we decided to make a trip by plane. Our journey took us to the tri-border region of Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay. We visited the Iguazú Waterfalls, which are the natural spectacle in South America and one of the largest in the world.
On one day, we went to the Argentine side. There are several paths where you can see the waterfalls from different levels. The Garganta do Diabo was particularly impressive.
On the other day, we crossed the border to Brazil. Yes, this means four more stamps in our passport.😉 On the Brazilian side, you have a panoramic view of the waterfalls. In the afternoon, we also visited a bird park where we could admire many species of birds from the rainforest.
Which side did we like better? Well, our opinions differ. Silvio liked the Argentine side better because you could get so close. And Carla liked the Brazilian side with more panoramic views and more water pressure. Yes, luckily we visited both sides!😊
