Everything looks very easy in the hiking brochure. And the hiking trails are actually well marked: with yellow stripes (go this way) and yellow crosses (better not here). We set off on a short afternoon tour in Mollans in the early afternoon. But when the hiking trail sign - yellow stripes - is suddenly supplemented by a green or red dot, it gets a bit difficult. We take the yellow-green marked path, assuming that this would be the easier and shorter option than the red one. This later turns out to be a mistake. In any case, the planned 2 hours turn into 5. But the route is uniquely beautiful, as are the views, not least down to the neighboring village of Pierrelongue. And finally we arrive back at the car park where we left our bikes at lunchtime.
