Treasure Island really is a Treasure Island

We haven't got in touch for two days now, but not because we didn't feel like it, but because we were simply relaxed.

It was just a dream to be here and unfortunately we're going to Cape Coral tomorrow morning, but Florida has given us a very warm welcome so far. The beaches are not only incredibly wide, but also super beautiful. Mega soft sand, lots of shells and palm trees. We were alternately in our pool or just on the beach and in the sea. A pelican caught a fish right next to me yesterday. I was lying on my mattress in the sea and suddenly the full can splashed into the water about five meters away from me. Then he appears again and we watch him eat and he looks at us as if he wanted to tell us that this is his sea.

In terms of temperature, there is almost no difference between air and water, because the water is simply warm, as it is always 30 degrees. It is now 22:20 local time and it is 29 degrees. But it is absolutely comfortable as we have to walk 5 meters to the pool and about 50 meters to the sea. There is also a light wind and there was a small thunderstorm earlier and now the air is very pleasant.

That's why we haven't made any excursions in the last few days, at most to go out to eat. There was delicious shrimp and sandwiches and burgers and whatever you want. Tonight we had Asian food and that was simply beautiful thanks to the great view.

Tomorrow morning we'll drive further south and then stay in the same house for a week, that's quite a lot ;)
