On the first day of Fezitty, we were all, the Online Team of Mini-München and also Fezitty, quite excited because we didn't know if we had maybe overlooked a significant mistake. That's why we drove to the Fezitty site at 7:30 on this day to be able to react in time in case of doubt.
So we took the S-Bahn and tram and bought breakfast and lunch at Edeka on the way. When we arrived at the site, we set up our 'office' (a larger room with a table, chairs, and sofas) and clarified the last inconsistencies.
Since the rush of children was quite high at the beginning, we helped in the job counseling to assign the professions to the right children. In doing so, we noticed several things that we should change to make the operation work better, some of which we implemented after the first rush.
Contrary to our fears, we hardly had any problems and it was really relaxed. Nevertheless, we took a tour of the companies so that all the supervisors also know what they have to do in order to ensure that everything runs smoothly. After the end of the city of play, we had an additional meeting with the organizers to receive feedback on the one hand, but also to give it on the other.
We then drove back to the hostel, dropped off our things, and then met Flo from the organization at Alexanderplatz, who showed us more of Berlin. We were among other places at the TV tower, the red town hall, and the Humboldt Forum, about which Flo had a lot to tell.
Afterwards, we met with Mark, who works in Fezitty but is also part of the Online Team, in an Indian restaurant, whose food was not described as spicy, but in my opinion, it definitely deserved this title.
Finally, we returned to the hostel, where Julian and Max worked a little longer to put the updated website online for tomorrow.
