Modena was more modern and beautiful than expected

The breakfast leftovers didn't work out so well because we weren't really hungry. But in the end, we hardly had to throw anything away 👌🏼

Packing the car went relatively well until we realized that the liter of motor oil was no longer in the bottle but in the felt of the trunk. But it only hit a few unimportant things 🚗🛢 Also, after a few minutes, I noticed that the new cooler bag was super wet. I thought it was because of the condensation of the cooling packs. It later turned out that when removing one of the cooling packs from the freezer (it was just frozen), it must have cut into the plastic and thawed, causing it to leak - my super cooler bag can't handle that 🧊💧

But let's continue the trip. We headed towards Bologna, our next stop. However, we made a stop in Modena along the way 📍

In the cool streetwear stores, we found two t-shirts and a bucket hat. And 4 'new' cans of Monster Energy 🛍

For lunch, we had pizza, fries, and frozen yogurt 🍕🍟🍦

In addition to shopping and eating, we also saw a bit of the city and visited the Palazzo dei Musei, with its museum and library 🖼 📚 Back at the free parking lot next to the soccer stadium, we set off for Bologna 🅿️⚽️🏟

When we arrived at the hotel, we relaxed for a bit. Then we went to a Chinese restaurant for dinner🥢 In the end, it was a bit of a fail, so we ended up walking to Megges, which is located almost across from the hotel, to get full 🍔🍟

But let's start from the beginning: The restaurant was fancier than we thought, so the small appetizers were quite expensive 🥟 For the main course, we ordered Thai-style fried rice and duck 🍚🦆 It turned out that they were just side dishes, so I had a small portion of rice and Finn only had a duck leg without any sides. So you could have put together your own meal and ordered sides, vegetables, and meat separately to get a complete meal. In the end, we paid 51€ for a bottle of water, two colas, two small appetizers, rice, and duck. Oh man 😅🤦🏼‍♀️💸

But at least my sweetheart got his special Megges snacks, which are only available in Italy (especially the Parmesan snack, 17g of Parmesan) 🧀 and for me, a very sweet tiramisu 🍰

Now the accommodations in Florence and Pisa have been booked, and soon it's time to sleep 📱😴
