Thailand 2024 Tag 16+17

We didn't do much the last two days.

Explored the island a bit, lazy on the first beach, lazy on the second beach, lazy by the pool.

A little highlight on the first evening was the gecko, which showed no shyness and crawled up on me. Reall ysweet.

The Hippy Bar is worth mentioning, the two owners have been working on this “shipwreck” for 10 years and it is a maze made of wood and platforms and seats everywhere. Really crazy. However, not my case for staying longer.

We can recommend Buffalo Beach. Superfine sand (which doesn't come out of the camera even if you drop it), crystal blue water, shade from mangroves. And lots of little crabs.

On the second evening we went to the Rock Bar, which takes its name more from the location than from the music. Getting there is a bit of an adventure - I say only lowland Tyroleans will really enjoy it here. And the whole thing definitely won't stand up to a TÜV test.

Unfortunately, my stomach is grumbling a bit. So the peace and quiet is quite good.

Tomorrow we'll take the speedboat to the Surin Islands - snorkeling.
