A rainy day (23.08.2018)

While we were having breakfast by the lake this morning, it started raining. So we put on our rain jackets and enjoyed our warm tea.

Before it started pouring, we quickly took down our tent and packed everything into the car. Then we continued our journey to Karlstad in the beautiful warm car, driving through deserted country roads surrounded by the Swedish nature, where we rarely encountered other cars. It was very pleasant to drive there.

In the afternoon, we arrived in Karlstad and first went shopping in the city for dinner and breakfast tomorrow. Then we drove to the campground and checked in. The campground was located right by Lake Vänern, the largest lake in Sweden.

After setting up our tent, we took a walk along the water.

Then it was time for dinner. Before going to sleep, we took a nice hot shower since we were really freezing from the rain.
