Day 11 and 12 Trois Rivières and Quebec

With a heavy heart we leave the beautiful place by the lake and continue driving, overnight stop in Trois Rivières at the Holiday Inn - brand new, but not inviting to stay for long. We don't want to anyway😀. In the evening we have a snack at a microbrewery recommended by a colleague called "Le temps d'une Pinte", stroll through the pretty town for a while, and then drive to the hotel to plan the rest of the trip.

We are looking for accommodation near Baie St. Pierre for 4 nights to make excursions in the area. Difficult!! It is pretty much fully booked. We realize that it is easier to book just one or two nights. After a long search, we find something, though in Beaupré, but it's okay.

After a quick breakfast, we continue to Quebec the next morning. Now we really feel like we are in France. A beautiful city, although full of tourists. (It's also a port for cruise ships)

Then to the accommodation, again a vacation rental. Huge for the two of us, unfortunately not as nicely located as the last one, but only 40 km from Quebec, so we will definitely go there again.
