After a relaxing morning, we drive to the Hidden Lagoons of Baltinache. Here, too, the water flows from the Bolivian Andes into a depression without an outlet, and the remaining water becomes saltier through evaporation. In spring, this area is flooded with up to 50 cm of water, which then evaporates over the year. On the way there, we drive through a rocky desert interrupted by salt formations. Here we also had the opportunity to take a bath in one of the lagoons. Amazing, no possibility to sink, you always float on top.
Afterwards, another small cocktail hour at an artwork from 2004. The artist has depicted a pregnant Gunaku with stones. It is best recognizable when viewed from above.
And of course, the sunset cannot be missed, as well as the 'small' bottle of beer at ChelaCabur, the only bar in San Pedro where you can drink alcohol without having to eat something. Hard rock and sports, a great combination!!!
