02.01.2019 Etosha National Park

We drove to Etosha in the early morning with Hendrik. As soon as we arrived at the national park, we had 6 hours to search for the Big Five. Right at the beginning of our tour, we encountered a resting lion. We saw a lot of wildlife and birds. Unfortunately, no rhinos or elephants, but the good thing is... we have to come back. We had a great drive through the park in the sun, storm, and rain. We stayed at the Taleni Etosha Lodge in Okaukuejo. Early Thursday morning, we drove back to Windhoek. In the evening, we celebrated our farewell and welcomed the newcomers from Germany, Achim and Munia, whose journey began yesterday. Sadly, on Friday evening, we returned to Germany. We had a great trip, many thanks to Hendrik, Frauke, and Ramona, who warmly welcomed us and provided us with an unforgettable family vacation. One thing is for sure... 'Today is not the end, we will come back, no question'!!
