We are racing towards Finland, the first of the three Scandinavian countries, leaving the Baltic States behind. Today we left Riga and set up our tent at a campsite 50 meters away from the marina of the Estonian capital, Tallinn. Our stay in Riga was sunny and, as we all know, sunshine makes everything twice as beautiful! So we were able to truly enjoy the old town! Of course, as three curious and culture-loving guys, we also visited the city's art museum and climbed the tower of the historic Gothic brick church in Riga. The only low point of the day was a really bad and small döner! However, an impromptu kickabout in the early evening with a young German fan from Latvia cheered us up again.
Today, we continued to Tallinn in our usual roles: one is the driver, one is the DJ, and the last one takes on the most demanding task: 'El Navigante', as seen in the picture. And once again, our map reading skills proved trustworthy, so now we can relax here at the harbor, right by the sea. Luckily, it was a relatively short distance and the roads were clear, so we took a break by the Baltic Sea along the way.
Next time you will probably hear from us in Finland, until then, the three P's.
