Tag 2: Las Vegas Baby

...that's how we felt yesterday when we fell into bed. Even though the night's rest was only short-lived (2 am), it helped. At 5 am, we headed to Denny's. Hearty food always works!

Our destination for today: Las Vegas! But first: Shopping!

Approximately 460 km lay ahead of us...and it was raining! Not cool. Bland scenery passed by until we arrived at Primm at the Outlet Center...kind of gloomy and run-down. Quickly moved on to the Las Vegas South Premium Outlets. Much better. The clothes hunt was successful.

The sky cleared up a bit, but the temperatures remained quite chilly. Now off to the Strip, which is only 2 minutes away from our hotel. Colorful lights, shops, hotels, and lots of crazy and drunk people crossed our path. We didn't notice that last time. It was a bit uncomfortable to watch. Still, an incredible city worth visiting. Just the dancing fountains of the Bellagio Hotel with matching choreography to Andrea Bocelli's and Sarah Brightman's song 'Time To Say Goodbye' give you goosebumps. Okay. I was also cold. We let ourselves drift a bit more, but the night's rest was calling.
